1934 - 'Low-chassis
Invicta'.
Invicta S. Scratch
built from airfix bently and MRRC bits. (Everyone was using Bentley's
in open meetings - but they got lower and lower and out of scale
and were failing scrutineering). Conversion to the Invicta was the
answer. This was the first, and copied by many others throughout
the UK. |

1964 4 WD Mini.
Scratch built
from Airfix (static) mini body. 4 WD Mini chassis, was MRRC ballrace
5 pole motor - throw away all the plastic, solder brass U brackets
straight to pole pieces, add two pairs of 'Tailor Made' gears and
VIP guide. Ridiculously quick with crap handling (to small a foot
print). |
